Give me a Moment!
A fraction of a second?
Like what? Microsecond, millisecond etc.
What do you mean by a fraction of a second?
It’s one of the popular phrase used in the sentences
notifying the quickness or fastness of the occurrence.
A blink of an eye, a jiffy, split second is all same, isn't
it?
So what is the importance of this fraction we are talking
about?
How much effort can we put in this minute time?
Let’s say, you all will consider this question and answer me
as .001% of my brain I can use in this split second. Or 1% will be used. or
some would say, it depends on each individual.
The brain is considered very unexpected, unforeseen and
weird. Do you remember the first time you walked as a kid? Do you remember the
number of times you practised to make something perfect? It seems to us that we
feel difficult to get used some new complex action, till our brain gets tuned
to it. Where do these actions get stored?
Conscious mind?
Unconscious mind?
Or subconscious mind?
Well, these movements are guided by one of the most powerful
inner forces which drive human behaviour – the subconscious mind. The function
of your subconscious mind is to store and fetch data. Consider yourself as a
robot, then its job is to ensure that you respond exactly the way you are
programmed. This is why we are impacted by positive thoughts or people very
easily. We can consider our subconscious mind as a subjective. It doesn't have
individuality, it just obeys the orders from your conscious mind.
The subconscious mind consists of something called
homeostatic impulse which means the equilibrium required by our body. And this subconscious mind memorises and
stores your comfort level. That is why we feel uncomfortable and uneasy
whenever we try something new or around new people. The sense of fear and
discomfort is the indication that the subconscious mind is doing its work. to
get out of this comfort zone you'll have to be willing to try in the first
place and get ready to get embarrassed or awkward if it doesn't go out well.
Being the home of the nonphysical realms of the human
experience, some aspects include our dreams; emotions, ideas, and imagination
are in our subconscious mind. One thing about the subconscious mind is that it
doesn't process negative commands. Hence, if a person has a good dealing with
his subconscious mind, negative thoughts wouldn't survive within us. The
subconscious mind also holds our perceptions.
Whoever we think we are as people and however we think the world
operates quietly lives under the conscious mind in the subconscious. Our
perceptions may be anything, fantastic or agonising. The subconscious mind does
not evaluate or judge these perceptions; it simply accepts them as truth.
To conclude, I would say, your subconscious mind has the
answers for most of your problems. According to Joseph Murphy, the answers may
not come immediately, but your mind will always be working on problems you
think, and it will eventually present to you a presentable solution. Being
humans, we create our own miseries and blame fate, faith and god for it. No,
it's our own actions and hence brain that is responsible.
And finally, if we get a hold on our subconscious mind and
train ourselves for good and better, nothing can stop you from your dreams,
ambition and amazing life!
