Division.

Isn’t that funny? That we love to divide ourselves all the time? We love to look for different criteria to aid us with this segregation.
Why are we so obsessed with this? What does it benefit us?
Nothing. It gives us nothing.
And then, there are certain things which we have made up ourselves just for the purpose of segregation. You got it right! Religions, Castes, sub-castes, races, colour of the skin and what not! As if all these really matter in the grand scheme of this universe! While there are mysteries of this universe waiting to be unravelled! Amazing us each and every time by surpassing our limits of imagination! Yet, we prefer to squabble among ourselves in the name of the religion, caste or the race to which we belong!
Religion, earlier had a meaning.
Religion was a way to seek the guidance of our creator and understand the beauty of his creations!
Now, as I see, It’s a wonderful term. Usually associated with the sentiments, which are hurt whenever somebody speaks on it. And a wonderful method in which we have segregated ourselves.
Segregation isn’t actually the issue.
The issue starts when the segregated factions introduce concepts like supremacy and hegemony. Once the up and the down are created, the war begins. All of them want to be on the top, the top which exists only in their heads. The pinnacle which carries no meaning, which just shows the inferior intentions with which it has been created. The peak which is only created to look beneath and condescend over others below.
We’re slaves of this beautiful system. This system which is controlled by menial mindsets of the supreme human beings, who believe themselves to have been descended from the gods themselves and thus, use it as an excuse to highlight the superiority of their culture and yet, fail to understand the true essence behind it! Ironic, isn’t it?
I’d like to give out my opinion!
We should forsake these instruments of division, if we are to progress. Alas! It pains to call pious things as instruments! But that’s what they’ve been reduced to.
Otherwise, one should try to understand the reason behind all of this! But reasoning should be done from all the perspectives to get the full picture. Instead of quarrelling over these things, we should instead find the similarity in all of them. All the different cultures point out to one common thing, celebration of humanity!
Educating ourselves and our brothers with the knowledge of this world would be more than sufficient to lift up our eyes from the veil of ignorance woven with the fibres of division!
